A Life Forgotten

It is rather commonplace here to find abandoned houses-
houses that people couldn't afford, houses lived in for a while and left for
a better place, houses going to ruin while stuck in the midst of family feuding.
The reasons for abandonment, like the houses themselves, are endless. . .

Within the first few steps, signs of a past life are visible wherever you look.
Who lived here? What kind of life did they lead?
Where they happy here at one time?

The sound of tearing cobwebs accompanies every step.
The smell of musky, humid material overwhelms.

It seems that at one time this place was beautiful and loved.
What went wrong?

The plants have taken over this dwelling as their own, and
there is no one around to stop them.
